York, PA – The York Exposition Center and the National Street Rods Association have reached an agreement which will keep the popular NSRA Street Rod Nationals East in York, Pennsylvania through 2024.
“While were disappointed that the 2020 Street Rods event had to be canceled due to Covid-19, we are very pleased that we were able to work things out to keep this long-time event at home at the York Exposition Center,” said CEO Bryan Blair.
Prior to 2020, the NSRA Nationals East had been held at the Expo Center since the late 1970’s . “We are happy to be bringing the event back to York through 2024,” said Tom Wilkerson, NSRA’s Director of Special Events. “During this four-year term we will celebrate our 50th anniversary in York and it is always one of the highlights of the season for Street Rod enthusiasts from across the eastern half of the country,” he added.
Laura Gurreri, President of Explore York added that the economic impact to York County is nearly $5 million dollars during the annual event. “We are ecstatic that the NSRA has committed to staying in York County for the next four years, and hopefully for many more summers to come,” said Gurreri.
